A part of Allen's classical remix series, this oil painting recreates the Mona Lisa with the artist's friend Mykiya Olivers. The artist recreates a popular historical painting with African Americans in modern attire. Her subjects are confident and choose their own clothing to recreate the artworks, giving them control over how they appear in the paintings, thus showing their own personalities.
